Bragg Creek is not so much a town as a hamlet surrounded by forest and acreage homes.  This is country living at its finest - close to the mountains, close to nature and close to perfect!  Situated on the edge of Kananaskis Country yet just 30 minutes from Calgary Bragg Creek allows you to work in the city and live in the wilderness.

Property does not come cheap in Bragg Creek - but then perfect is never cheap!  The town itself is very small and more a commercial/retail centre catering not only for the locals but also for an important tourist market with gift shops, restaurants, bars and cafes.  Many of the locals live outside of town on acreages in amongst the trees and wildlife.

Just outside of town is the community of Redwood Meadows.  Redwood Meadows is lease land and as such when buying a home there you should recognize that you are buying a lifestyle rather than an investment.  Redwood Meadows is situated in a forest between the Elbow River and a golf course and due to it being lease land offers the ability to live in a tranquil setting for minimal cost.
